David Bellingham's Citron - Citroën is a multiple comprised of four yellow Citroën 2CV models and eight limes in a porcelain bowl, composing as the artist describes it "[a] still-life to be assembled and maintained as required". The component parts of the work are supplied as a kit, which is complete only when the three elements are brought together. Citron - Citroën sets up an animated play between language and proportion, between appearance and disappearance and between objects of different scales.
